Each Sunday morning from 9 to 10 AM during the school year, adults are invited to our Adult Formation Class. This hour offers thought provoking discussion on issues that inform and challenge us in our faith and how we choose to live it out.  The hour together is an opportunity to enjoy great fellowship, make new friends and consider topics important to faith in Christ.  We hope you will join us!

The first and third Thursday of each month First Presbyterian men gather at 9:00 am for fellowship at Friendsview Retirement Community.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend and join our community. See you there!

Space 4 Grace is a bi-monthly women’s gathering focused on conversation around issues of faith and connection with one another.  It is a time in our busy lives to reflect on and grow in our spiritual lives and in our friendships. In Space 4 Grace we experience God’s grace to us, and through us to one another. Come and make Space 4 Grace in your life!  We meet the second and fourth Friday each month from 11 to noon in the Education Building.

We love to sing in worship at Newberg First Presbyterian Church. Our choir is open to everyone, including non-music readers. There are no auditions and choir practice is every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall. We are blessed to be led by our Music Director Pat Goodman, who has served our church for many years. The choir sings two Sundays per month from September to June. We are a close-knit family that has a lot of fun together. Come join our choir family!

Our student ministries exist to provide a space for Middle School and High School students to be part of a community of grace, hope, peace, and love.

We are open and affirming of all students. We spend time having fun, getting to know each other over snacks, and learning more about how the story of God intersects with our own stories.

Men’s Team meets every first Saturday of the month from 8 to 10 AM for breakfast and conversation in the church fellowship hall.

The Gathering women’s group meets once per month from 6:30-8:30 PM.

Newberg First Presbyterian Church is a house of prayer. We cultivate our prayer lives with the help of a prayer retreat most first Fridays of the month. This half day retreat begins at 9 AM and finishes at 1 PM. Lunch is provided.

The Mission and Global Witness Committee supports mission efforts of Newberg First Presbyterian Church. We currently support seven mission partners as well as Love Inc. Bike Ministry, and other local ministries that support those in need. We also are responsible for arranging Presbyterian Mission offerings that support mission efforts through the Presbyterian Church (USA).
